Welcome to Home Comfort Country Living! We are located in the Beautiful Bitterroot Valley of Western Montana, and offer Fifth- generation Montanan expertise in the art of Country Living!

Whether you have just moved to Montana or are a native, I hope you will find our classes on various Country Living topics to be beneficial, encouraging, and FUN!

Home Comfort Country Living was established to teach some of the "lost arts" of Country Living, such as small acreage planning, making homemade gifts, and cooking and baking (on a wood-cookstove in the winter!) I have a huge emphasis on Vegetable Gardening and the preservation of fruits and vegetables. What a fantastic way to help feed your family... with the bounty from your own garden, and the fruit of your labor. If you do not have a garden or garden space, though, don't let that deter you... Check out our Resources page for some novel ideas!

You can get to know me me on the "About Us" page, if you can believe everything you read! You might just have to take a class to verify my story.

The Schedule for this years classes are in a separate section: I'll try to keep it up to date, but call if you have any questions. I've included a page of additional resources to help you on your way and will be adding more as we go along.

In the Garden of Life section you'll find good things for your body, soul, and spirit! This is where I share out of my personal life with you. Recipes will show up here along with Short stories, poems, photos and maybe even a song or two!
